Predictions

Although we may complain about being kept in the dark about Paramore's fourth album, you've got to admit, speculating with fellow fans is as fun as it is infuriating. 

So, I'm going to go through a few of my predictions of what's going to be happening in the coming months.

Album title

Personally, I think it will be 'Future'. 

Hayley described the album as being the most emotionally upbeat album the band have ever made. I think that they'd choose an upbeat title to reflect this. They are wanting to move on from the negative emotions of the past, and look forward to the future, so there's few album titles more fitting to represent this than 'Future'.

I posted this yesterday about Paramore's new splash page. It goes into more detail about the source code, but basically, it says that "Future will display once every 1m hours until" December 14th, 2012.  

The fact that the single word has such implied importance, not just in the page's source-code, but in the design itself (The slashes covering future resemble a present with a bow on it) suggests that 'Future' is the name of the album.

First single

It seems as though a song called 'Now' will be the first single the band release from their album.

Wendy Rollins (Radio 104.5) tweeted this:

"Just heard new @paramore "Now" - a matured version of#Riot! Nice work @yelyahwilliams!!"

When someone asked her why the band let her listen to the song when we were all still under the impression that the album was still being mixed, she merely replied:

"This one is good to go!"

The fact that this one song is completely finished ahead of the rest of the album, and being sent out to radio presenters already, suggests that this will be the first single.

Now is also part of what we presume to be lyrics on the splash page, so it would make sense for these to be lyrics to 'Now'.

Announcement

I think that they'll announce the album title and release date, single title and release date and album artwork on December 14th, the day when the splash-page is due to be taken down.

It would be like their Christmas present to us.

I'm going to go for sometime in January. 

Album release date

Mid to late February, with a US tour being announced just before the album drops.
