It's amazing how fast news spreads in this fanbase, especially when it's about  a new Paramore track.

It all started off last night with a picture that Hayley uploaded onto her instagram of a pair of custom vans that she made for the Vans Custom Culture project.

On the shoes (which Hayley decorated with hair-dye and sharpie, because she's bad-ass like that) are lines of lyrics:

Hayley also made a tumblr post using the same image, and confirms that they are a few lines of lyrics to upcoming single 'Now'.

The lyrics go like:
"Lose the battle,
Win the war.
Bringing my sinking ship back to the shore
Starting over,
Head back in!
There's a time and a place to die
But this ain't it
If there's a future we want it now
Now, now, now, now, now, now"
It was also confirmed that the release date for 'Now' would be 22nd January. The released the following fifty eight second teaser for the song:

A few fans thought that the intro included the gospel choir that the band confirmed that they would be working with, but Hayley confirmed that it was only her voice.

Hayley previously detailed the song as having the following lyrical meaning:
"You can lose battles but come back and win full on wars. You can rise from ashes. You can make something out of even less than nothing. The only thing you have to do is keep moving forward!"
If you manipulate the teaser in the right way, you can also hear Hayley singing a few of the lyrics that appeared on her custom vans.
